In recent developments, Olympic Industries Limited (OLYMPI BD), a renowned manufacturer specializing in biscuits and bakery products, has strategically invested in two land acquisitions. The first involves the acquisition of 37.00 decimals of land in the Mouza Lolati area, situated within the Sonargaon Upozilla of Narayanganj district. This acquisition, inclusive of registration fees and various incidentals, amounts to BDT 10.59mn. Concurrently, as part of its expansion strategy, the company is also set to secure an additional 30.75 decimals of land within the same locale, at a total cost of BDT 15.87mn, encompassing registration fees and miscellaneous expenses totaling BDT 3.57mn. These acquisitions strategically position the company in close proximity to its existing Biscuit & Confectionery unit at Lolati.

To date, OLYMPI BD has invested a cumulative sum of BDT 356.48mn to acquire 684.59 decimals land since 2019. Notably, all of these land plots are strategically situated in the vicinity of the company’s established manufacturing facilities.
