According to some daily newspapers, SINGER BD has commenced its washing machine plant in Savar on May 6, 2021 besides its existing manufacturing plants that assemble and produce refrigerators, panel television and air conditioners. The washing machine plant has a capacity to produce 420,000 units per year. The company will produce automatic front and top loading and semi-automatic washing machines at the manufacturing facility which was built under direct supervision of the company’s European parent Arcelik.
